Bokreand del 3/The book sale part 3

Nu har det sista från bokrean anlänt. Blev lite mer än vad hade tänkt mig men jaja, det är som vanligt! Noll koll, haha. Serien jag köpte från Bokus.com var the Witcher. Jag har läst "The Last Wish" (som jag trodde var bok nr 1) så nu har jag två upplagor av den boken, fast en nyare med snyggare omslag. Vet dock inte vad jag ska göra med den gamla boken. Ge bort? Ha en utlottning? Är någon ens intresserad av den? Vi får väl se.
Sedan köpte jag även "Livstjuvarna" av Linda Andersson efter att ha läst Bokugglors recension av den. Jag har både hört om och sett den tidigare samt tänkt läsa den, men det har aldrig blivit av. Men nu så kontaktade jag författaren och bad om att få köpa ett exemplar. Ska bli kul att läsa!
Nu får det nog räcka med böcker för ett tag framåt, men det säger jag ju hela tiden 🙈

Har ni läst the Witcher-böckerna och/eller sett serien?
Vad tyckte ni om det i så fall?

The last order from the book sale has arrived. It ended up being a lot more than I thought, but that's just typical me. Totally clueless, haha. The series I bought from Bokus.com was the Witcher. I've read "The Last Wish" (that I thought was bok no 1) so now I have two copies of that book, but one a bit newer with a much nicer book cover. Don't know what I'm supposed to do with the old copy. Give it away? Host a giveaway? Does anyone even want it? I dont know.
I also bought "Livstjuvarna" (something like "Life thieves" in english) by Linda Andersson after having read a review of it by Bokugglor. I've heard of it and seen it before, so I've thought about reading it but didn't make it happen until now, when I contacted the author and bought a copy from her. Looking forward to read it!
I think this is enough of books for a while, but I always say that and new books still keeps arriving 🙈

Bokrean del 2/The booksale part 2.

Idag kom mer fynd från bokrean hem till mig! Det var dock i princip allt jag hittade, för jag tyckte inte det fanns så mycket mer. Eller så var jag lat och inte orkade leta ordentligt, haha. Vore ju inte osannolikt i för sig.
Men jag slogs av att alla böcker såg ut att vara av samma skrot och korn, haha. Varje bok såg liksom "ondskefull" ut, härligt! Den enda som inte var på rea är "God's Demon", så den köpte jag till fullpris.

Hur är det med er och reor? Hittar ni alltid väldigt mycket eller knappt något alls?

Today more findings from the booksale arrived home to me! This was pretty much all I could find, because I felt like there weren't that much more of interest for me. Or maybe I was too lazy to look properly, haha. Wouldn't be improbable.
But I was struck by how the books looked like they're all the same, haha. Each book looked a bit "evil", lovely! The only one that wasn't on sale is "God's Demon", I bought that at full price.

How do you deal with sales? Do you always find a lot or hardly anything?

Bokrean del 1/The book sale part 1

Varje år glömmer jag av att det är bokrea, så när det väl är så blir jag lika förvånad varje gång. Förstår inte varför! Men jag förhandsbeställde ett par saker i alla fall och sen när rean var igång beställde jag hem några böcker till som jag väntar på.
Dessa böcker kom för 2 veckor sen säkert, men det har varit fullt upp här så jag har inte varken hunnit eller orka posta nåt om dem. Jag genomgick ju en koloskopi förra veckan, vilket innebär ett par dagars fasta och annat jobbigt, så då har man ju ingen ork till sånt. Men själva undersökningen gick bra. Jag var hög på morfin så jag minns ingenting, haha. Det är tur att de drogar en, för jag har nåt minne av att det gjorde fasligt ont när de blåste in luft men har bara väldigt suddiga minnen, tack och lov. Hur som, i fredags fick vi åka in akut till Blå Stjärnan med vår ena katt, för då hade han fått urinstopp och det är tydligen väldigt allvarligt när hankatter får det. De kan dö väldigt fort av det. Så jag hann knappt komma hem från jobbet innan vi fick åka iväg med honom och väntetiden var rätt lång. Vi kom inte hem förrän runt 22.30. Var helt slut efter det. Nu mår vår kisse bra igen! Han har fått nytt foder mot urinsten och antiinflammatorisk medicin som verkligen har hjälpt honom. Aldrig varit med om detta tidigare så det kom från ingenstans!

Jaja, har ni också shoppat loss på rean och har ni läst nån av böckerna nedan?

Every year I forget about the big book sale, so when it begins I'm always very surprised, but I don't know why! I did preorder some stuff anyway and when the sale was on I ordered some more books that I'm now waiting for.
These books arrived home like 2 weeks ago but I've been very busy so I haven't had the time or energy to post about them. I went through a colonoscopy last week, which ment I had to fast for a couple of days and other horrible things, so I din't have any energy. But the exam went well. I was high on morphine so I hardly remember anything, haha. It's good they drug you because I remember a lot of pain when they pumped in air in my intestines but that memory is really faint, thank the gods. Anyway, this friday we had to go to the ER with one of our cats, because he had a urine blockage, which is apparently very, very bad for male cats. They can die pretty quickly of not being able to urinate, so I was barely home after work before we had to go with him to the veterinary. Was a long time waiting and I don't think we were back home until 10.30 in the evening. I was pretty much wasted after that. So tired. But out kitty is now well again! He's got a new feed that will prevent urinary problems and anti inflammatory medicine that has really helped him. I've never experienced this with a cat before and it came from nowhere!

Anyway, do you shop a lot on book sales and have you read any of the books above?
I realise they are mostly in swedish so maybe not, but you never know! haha.
