Handling: Greylyn är en skyddsängel som levt i ett par hundra år. Hon åker på olika uppdrag för att rädda människor ifrån ondska tillsammans med sin mentor och nära vän Jasper. Men just nu behöver hon semester, så hon åker till sitt favoritställe Gaelic Haven för ett par dagar av vila. Hon hinner knappt fram innan problemen hopar sig, för på det mysiga hotellet befinner sig även hennes långlivade fiende, demonen Kael. Vad gör han här?
Till Greylyns förtret försöker i princip alla på hotellet para ihop henne med Kael och av rena fasa inser hon att han påverkar henne starkt. Så fort hon är i hans närhet känns det som att hela hennes kropp sjunger och hennes hjärna blir dimmig. Hon försöker stå emot kroppens begär samtidigt som en konspiration uppdagas. En tusenårig profetia har satts i rullning och Greylyn är mitt i den. Utan att förstå riktigt vad som försiggår gör hon sitt bästa för att skydda alla inblandade.


Min åsikt om boken: Detta är en recensionsexemplar från författaren, tack så mycket för boken! 🙏 Det var en intressant läsning, för jag är jäkligt ny på paranormal romance. Jag är inte romantiskt lagd direkt, så det var lite annorlunda att läsa en sån här bok. Stundtals tyckte jag att boken var lite upprepande, speciellt vad gäller interaktionen mellan Greylyn och Kael. Man förstod rätt snabbt hur hon påverkades av honom men ändå togs det upp om och om igen ett bra tag i början. Jag skulle nog säga att nästan 1/3 av boken bara var om hur han påverkade henne. När boken väl kom igång med profetian och det så var det spännande, men innan dess var det ganska segt. Tycker det är lite synd att så mycket sparades till slutet, för där kände jag verkligen att handlingen började ta fart ordentligt och jag hade gärna velat läsa mer. Men det är väl det bok nr 2 är till för antar jag. En helt ok bok om det goda mot det onda, demoner och änglar, Gud och Satan. Jag är trots allt nyfiken på uppföljaren och det torde väl ändå vara ett gott tecken!

Story: Greylyn is a guardian angel that has lived for a couple of hundred years. She goes on different assignments to save humans from evil along with her mentor and close friend Jasper. But right now she needs a vacation, so she goes to her favorite place Gaelic Haven for a couple of days of rest. She hardly has the time to arrive before there's trouble, because in the cosy hotel is one of her long standing enemy, the demon Kael. What is he doing here?
To Greylyn's vexation people in the hotel are trying to pair her up with Kael and to her horror she realises that he has a strong affect on her. As soon as she's in his precense she feels as if her body sings and her brain becomes foggy. She tries to fight her body's desire when at the same time a conspiracy is revealed. A thousand year old prophecy is set in motion and Greylyn is in the middle of it. Without really understanding what is going on she tries her best to protect everyone involved.

My opinion of the book: This is a review copy I got from the author, thank you very much! 🙏 It was an interesting read, because I'm really new to paranormal romance. I'm not a romantic person so this was something new to me. At times I thought the book was a bit repetitive, especially when it came to the interactions between Greylyn and Kael. You understood pretty quickly how she was affected by him but it was still brought up again and again in the beginning. I'd say that almost 1/3 of the book was just about how he affected her. When the book did begin speeding up with the prophecy and all that it was really suspenseful, but before that it was a bit slow. I think it's a shame that so much was saved until the end, because that's when I feel the plot really began coming around and I would have loved to read more. But I guess that's what book no 2 is for. An okey book about good vs evil, demons and angels, God and Satan. I am after all curious about the sequel and that's a good sign!
