Handling: Vad för slags sagor hörde man i sin barndom om man växte upp i t.ex. Ketterdam eller Ravka? Om man till hör "the Grishaverse" kanske man hörde berättelser om sjöjungfrur som kunde sjunga fram stormar eller en gigantisk varg med horn som spred skräck bland bönderna? Eller varför den sluga räven och hans hantering av en förtrollad jägare?
Min åsikt om boken: Om man gillar Leigh Bardugos tidigare böcker i Shadow & Bone-trilogin och Six of Crows-duologi bör man också gilla hennes sagobok! Den här boken innehåller 6 illustrerade sagor från denna värld och de är verkligen inget för små barn utan här pratar vi lite mer vuxna sagor, som handlar om blod, död, kärlek, magi och svek. Illustrationerna gör enormt mycket för boken och det är en ren fröjd att läsa texten samtidigt som man kan vila ögonen på illustrationerna och ta in handlingen. Att boken dessutom är enormt snygg gör ju inte det hela sämre på nåt sätt. En riktigt bra bok faktiskt.

Story: What kind of fairytales would you have grown up with if you lived in Ketterdam or Ravka? If you beloned to the "Grishaverse" maybe you would've heard of mermaids conjuring storms with their songs or a gigantic wolf with horns spreading dread among the farmers? Or why not a fox and his cunningness when dealing with a enchanted hunter?
My opinion of the book: If you like Leigh Bardugo's previous books in the Shadow & Bone trilogy and Six of crows duology, then you should probably like her fairytale book! It contains 6 illustrated fairytales from this grisha world and they're not for small children. These are more grown up and is about blood, death, love, magic and betrayals. The illustrations does alot for the book and it's a true pleasure to read the text and at the same time being able to rest your eyes on the illustrations and just digest the story. And the fact that the book is absolutely gorgeous doesn't hurt in anyway! A really good book.
